This site is built to respect your privacy. Here is exactly what it stores and why.
No tracking cookies#
Visitors never get cookies. The only cookie is the site owner’s sign-in cookie, which is sent only to the private admin area.
Visit statistics#
Page views are counted without cookies and without storing your IP address. A one-way hash of your IP and browser, mixed with a secret that changes every day, tells visits apart for one day only; it can’t identify you or follow you across days. Browsers that send “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” are not counted. Detailed records are deleted after 90 days; only daily totals are kept.
Contact messages#
When you send a message, your name, email and message are stored so they can be answered. Your IP address is never stored.
Comments#
Comments show your name and your words. Your email (optional) is only used to tell you about replies and is never shown.
Newsletter#
Signing up needs a confirmation from your inbox (double opt-in). The consent text, time and page are recorded. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
